3 Star GRA

Mountaineer Dining Hall has been certified as a 3 Star Certified Green Restaurant® by the Green Restaurant Association (GRA), a national nonprofit organization helping restaurants become more environmentally sustainable since 1990. The GRA has the largest database of green solutions in the world for the restaurant industry. Since 2023, we have been working with the GRA to make our location as sustainable as possible. Our sustainability steps have been measured against the GRA’s science-based certification standards in energy, water, waste, reusables, chemicals, and food. We have taken 49 environmental steps to earn over 175 GreenPoints™.
